I like to go to shrines to have a blast from god and also to see the beautiful scenery, feel the fresh air and Goshuincho御朱印帳(correct shrine/temple stamp).
This is the one I went to the other day but not shrine, Temple(寺).
Since it is the season of azalea, the temple has many azalea spots now.
The temple we went was Daikyouzenji(大興善寺) and since they have azalea season it called “つつじ寺”(Tsutsuji temple)sometimes like a nickname.
Where is it?
It is in Kiyama-cho in Saga prefecture, it is at the edge of Saga and Fukuoka.
The stepps to the entrance was already good exercise then there was a garden you can walk around in the shrine property.
There are pink, red, white coloured azalea.
You cannot leave there without Yomogi Mochi just out side of the temple. There are some kiosks and it was my favorite!
