When it is sunny, cycling central Fukuoka is fun too if you are a foodie and coffee lover.
This is one of the days I cyclied.
It is hard to find bicycle parking in the city but there is central bicycle parking which is the first 3 hours for free and 100JPY per day. I use this place when I stay for some hours.
I like cycling along the houses as I like to see houses such as old houses and new decent buildings and find new cafes and restaurants.

Sri Lankan Curry
Do you like spicy? I like as long as I can eat lol
This place called Tsunapaha(ツナパハ) which is Sri Lanka curry.
I’ve only been to their lunch which is so reasonable.
Curry+rice(or short noodle)+salad+tea+dessert=990JPY!!! Wow, isn’t it wonderful ?
Anyways you will need much much water if you underestimate their spicy level like I did.

I mean their normal is very spicy.
I don’t know the standard of spicy but it is spicy.
But I want to go back again…
I recommend not to have water until the last bite as if you drink one sip then you won’t stop drinking water while eating curry.
If you finish the soup before the rice, you can ask them to top up soup once.
Then dessert time, the yogurt ice cream is the best match to mild in the mouth.
I definitely go back Tsunapaha(ツナパハ) again soon,haha.

Coffee Lover
Then I cycled toward Ropponmatsu and found this cute cozy coffee place called Day’s cup coffee.
The master was very interesting.
Their Macchaccino was one of their signature drinks using Yame green tea, from Fukuoka.
I was too full to enjoy their sweets but the master recommended to have sweets which had orders from our side of Fukuoka! Wooowww!

This house is a living house but renovated like a cafe inside.
There is a wrapping paper shop upstairs which looks nice too.
